BIOtech Japan gears up to become attractive with Life Science World 2015, to take place in Japan on May 13, 2015
BIOtech Japan is part of Life Science World 2015 and covering the entire biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and cutting-edge fields such as regenerative medicine and personalised medicine. In its 14th year from its launch, the Asia's leading bio-event - BIOtech Japan 2015 takes another step to become more comprehensive and attractive, under the new umbrella of Life Science World 2015. It will take place from May 13 to 15 at Tokyo Big Sight and is expected assembling of 600 exhibitors and 200 presentations.
Life Science World 2015 consists of 4 events - BIOtech Japan 2015 (biotechnology), PMEX Japan 2015 (diagnostics and testing for personalised medicine), Pharcon Japan 2015 (drug discovery and pharmaceutical development) and 12th Academic Forum.
Due to the launch of Pharcon Japan, Life Science World further enhanced its strength in drug discovery and biopharmaceutical development, and also broadened its coverage to new areas of pharmaceutical R&D. Covering the entire bio/pharma R&D field with emphasis on advanced research fields like regenerative medicine, personalised medicine, Life Science World 2015 becomes more unique, attractive and positions itself apart from the rest.
The conference programme has been enriched accordingly, with increased focus on drug discovery in various methods stem cells, antibodies, nanotechnology and so on. Other sessions include the latest research trends on hot topics such as iPS cells, immunology and many others.
BIOtech Japan 2015 itself is thriving, collaborating with USA as the 2015 partner country. One of the keywords of this years BIOtech Japan is Japan-USA-Asia, giving better understanding of the current bio-industry from perspective of USA, as well as Japan and Asia.
Firstly, many exhibitors will be present from USA this year, also encouraged by the fact that BIOtech Japan has been granted official Trade Fair Certification (TFC) by the US Dept. of Commerce, in recognition of its success in providing opportunities for US exhibitors to explore world markets. Secondly, BIOtech Japan keynote session will address Japan-USA-Asia's challenges towards innovation, inviting celebrated speakers from National Institutes of Health (NIH) of USA, Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) [to be launched in April 2015 to become the command centre of medical R&D in Japan] and the Government of Malaysia. It will be a prime opportunity to hear the future perspectives of bio/pharma/medical-related policy and research in Japan, USA and one of the booming markets in Asia Malaysia. Also, BIOtech Japan invited session addresses the rapidly rising East Asia's bio industry, where you can learn now and future of 3 markets - Korea, Hong Kong and India. Thirdly, BIOtech Japan 2015 will host a new project called Japan-USA-Asia Biotech Startups Pavilion, aiming to increase partnering opportunities with startup companies who have eminent new products/technologies. Startups from those 3 areas will present their products/technologies through exhibits and oral presentations.
